David has learned methods and techniques through books, and by attending workshops throughout the country. He studied with master artist David Leffel, but has mainly been influenced by artist Itshak Holtz. Using oil paint and charcoal, David focuses on Judaic themes and portraits for which he is known for capturing the jewish spirit.

He is represented by galleries in New York and New Jersey,and has exhibited in New York City.
